First up this year was the Volkl team shoot in Chamonix. With 22 riders, photographers and powder we had some great days the first week of the year.
It was really good to be back in Chamonix after almost a hole season without riding my favorite spot last year. The snow is back in Europe this winter, finally!
Thanks to Volkl, Schinka and Andrea for organizing this ski family week ;-)
And big up to the team!

I am so exited about this winter! With snow in Europe, inspiring projects to work with and a totally pain free body I cant wish for more..

My first year filming in Norway was pretty sick. Not very easy conditions and weather but traveling in this amazing nature and exploring my own country was something I always wanted to do. From the west coast and the Sunnmørs Alps to Narvik and Lofoten further north to Øksfjord in Finnmark even more north and then my final trip of the season to the arctic environment of Svalbard! Not only the wild nature and the wild life blew me away but to visit all these small societies and see how people live was an adventure I will never forget.My part in Chaoz is a mix from Sunnmøre, Narvik and Lofoten.Hope you enjoy the movie!Another season is on and Europe is full of snow! Finally! Stay tuned!

Was cool to go back to France after a long break from the country where I spend alot of time last years. If3 Annecy movie festival, summer weather, winter friends, movies, signings and parties was fun!
Thanks for the good response, it means alot :)

Chamonix was the right place to go after a little shaky Sunday morning..After a good catch up with friends and a nice rest I was stoked to spend two days up in these mountains again! Magic every time ;)
Had a nice day biking with Erlend who must be stoked to go out training with me cause it means bringing his heavy camera pack ;)

After some noise from this crew we went over to say hello on the way down. I told Erlend not to let us get stuck but we where pretty easy to talk into hanging out for a couple of ours :)
Full on bbq, salads, home made desert, wine and coffee avec homemade goodies ;)
The local mountain guys know how to appreciate a summer day in Oktober! Not so easy to film balance training after but for sure fun!

Cool to have this shot published! It was taken the only day we got a bit of sun at our stop in Lofoten. With some nice days at Kabelvåg hotel this face was talking to me one morning. Jon Håvard Grøgaard joined me to the top while the rest of the crew hiked below. We almost missed the light so I tried playing on the spine to stay in the sun. But it wasn't much playing on the shady side, that was even harder than in the sun so headed back to the sunny part where it was a tiny bit more friendly.
I was planning to have Grete Elliassen with me to the top too but with the snow conditions we had she didn't think it was very tempting. And I totally understand her. I was hoping for spring snow but this was closer to ice with some mini sluff on top. It's a beautiful little steep mountain and next time I wanna ski it in good snow and rip down instead of having security breaks on!
Thanks to Erlend Haugen for the shot :) And to Grete and Karina screaming so I could hear them while skiing down :) And with the icy sound under my skis they must have taken out their best voice to make me hear it! First I was thinking something scary was about to happen and checked behind my shoulder but it was was all rock solid so nothing was moving.
But even it was rock hard it was good to have a run like this again. With very little snow in Chamonix all season and I missed my steep riding..

Svalbard/Spitsbergen-sailing the arctic!

Been dreaming a long time about exploring Svalbard. This spring a sweet opportunity with living on a sailboat and explore the unskied westcoast came up. Perfect way of ending the season! A season totally different from any other after a pretty confusing weather turnout. With trip after trip cancelled cause of lack of snow both in Europe and Alaska my dream about exploring Norway step by step turned into almost a full season in my own country. Norway has been a place I skied very little in since I started freeriding. With a stunning nature around you at all time and sunlight all night the travel aspect was amazing even though the snow conditions has been variable. The combination of fjords and mountains, the small local communities and their life in these desert places has been a great thing to see and experience. Hope you like the edit! Back in my hometown Oslo after months on the go. Unpacking properly for the first time since February, damn nice. Skis gently placed in the basement and summer clothes and toys handy placed. I
passed Chamonix some days before a hot friendly Oslo weekend rolled up. Music festival downtown and adventure in the huge forest area, Marka, behind the city.

Svalbard was the coolest way of ending the winter season, so stoked to sail around the island with beautiful surroundings. No sundown and 24 ours of sun gives you chance to hit the mountains all night long, pretty cool.

Can't believe I am here..Been thinking about it for years but didn't see it coming right now. And definitely not in this format..living on a sailboat cruising the fjords with ice floating around us. Climbing mountains whenever we want, sun is out 24 ours day. Its a dream and it just started..hoping to see some polar bears soon, just seen seal and arctic rain dears..so cool to be here. We will now sail further north and check out some new unskied mountains. I doubt I will be able to give any news the next week, but as soon as I can Ill post some more. Peace.

I am about to take off for another Norwegian adventure, further north than ever. Dream setup for the final of the winter. It will be so much I never done before on this trip, cant wait to learn and experience more!
Here is more from Øksfjord. After this we took a few days of for easter before we again changed location to finish up our story and try to get some sunny days..not a easy one and we started to get a bit frustrated trying to plan where to go and deal with the crazy weather reports that was never accurate.. We decided to move more south again where the the sun was suppose to be more stable. Sunnmøre was on again, where it all started in February. Back to Juvet that so far is my favorite hotel ;) Thanks again Knut!
Sun was out but the snow was sketchy..We did some nice hiking and tenting and got a few crusing runs down towards the fjord. Not the conditions we wanted but still a good way of ending an amazing journey along the coast on the mainland of Norway! Thanks to everyone contributing and taking part. And a special big up for Karina who is back on her skis! Happy to take part of this special moment in your life and to have your strong happy aura around me :) And thanks for bringing a "matros" along to carry our skis and give us a male touch on this girl trip ;)

I stayed up north for a while since last update. Wow, its already been a month. Karina came up to again after a short trip to Italy. Same day Grete went back to the states for an event.
730 km travel north from Narvik, via Lofoten and Tromsø to get to the most north place I ever skied.

Its been cool having a total different winter for sure. I still wish I had more good snow and could ski more in Chamonix and other places as planned. Instead my travels moved more and more up north and back to where I as a kid started skiing. Never so far north and for sure not that much actual big mountains. Its been years since I spent time home in winter. Cool to check it out! Its so beautiful..long deep fjords. big mountains, small villages and people living the most extreme places in a fine combination. Thanks to my partners who makes my dreams come trough!

11/4 First day out in the Øksfjord mountains! Sick view again, but the snow is very difficult. It's been warm and it's hard to find a run without really changeable snow. We need the crust to soften, but then your playing on the edge with the possible heavy spring slabs..
I'm having great time and experiences but still miss the snow that you can just go for it without wandering to mush about the snow quality in the next turns.

10/4 Sleep in day, grey weather but still visibility to drive around and check out the place. Massive mountains raising straight up from the fjord here to, cant get enough of this I realized this season ;)

9/4 Travelday.
Our stay in Lofoten was short but super nice! No doubt I will be back here, so much stuff to hike and ride!
A zombie crew leaving Kabelvåg hotel at 4am. Dropping Karina at the airport for a few days break for some other work we headed toward Harstad and the Hurtigruten ferry. Next stop Tromsø to hit the road again and move up to Øksfjord.
I have never been close to be so far north. Finnmark, its wild and the largest county we have and least populated. Its also were the native Norwegian people, the sami people have their origin. Cant wait to explore this area!

8/4 Sunny Lofoten! We only had two days here so super happy we got bluebird the last day. The original plan was to hike up the same area as the day before but a huge steep face called me from the parking that morning. After a crew talk we decided to give it a shot and started the hike up towards Stortinden. My only worry was possible spring slabs but reaching the top is realized it was the opposite I had to deal with. Rock hard and the light was about to go so I didn't have much time to make a decision. Jon Håvard went first and the scratching sounds didn't sound nice but he called me from below and told me to go for it so I did. It was a good run but still not how I wanted to rip that face. It was more about staying safe but I'm still stoked to have skied it! Good day and no doubt I will come back here to hike and ride more mountains!

6/6 Travel day from Narvik to Lofoten. No pics from that journey..sleepy day..The next day we sticked to the popular hurry up and wait concept. The crew is now complete with the three girls :)
7/6 First day in Lofoten Islands was cloudy so we decided to check out Henningsvær.

Cancelation month..

Hi guys!
Its been a while since last update. In the beginning of the month I went back to Chamonix and hoped to find some good snow before my first trip to Alaska was suppose to happen. But with full on spring time shooting was difficult. Then Ak had to be cancelled cause of lack of snow..Then we tried to figure out other spots to find the good stuff. That was not an easy mission so after some days I jumped in my car and drove back up to Norway where another storm was on.
Unstable weather but good snow and nice shredding and hiking days with old friends, sweet!
While waiting for the good window to film it got warm..What a winter...!
Sooo in the end I decided to stay and ski the good days and check out spots and connections for future filming. Its alot to do back home and with this record winter the spring can be long and sick!
Right now I'm back in my home town Oslo, catching up with friends and family and loading for the next shoot.
This one I started organizing early season and will be the first one scheduled this winter that's actually happening. Super exited about the setup and the crew, girl power back to the roots heading north!
Grete, cant wait to see you up here and explore Norway with you :) And Karina, cant wait to catch you up there and ski with you again! Today's local north report says good stuff is waiting for us! Stay tuned for norwegian girl action coming up the next weeks!

Hi guys!

After a slow start of the season and terrible conditions for shooting in the alps I couldn’t stop checking the snow and weather conditions in Norway. It was dumping so much up north that I had to make a move.
Last friday I started working with the goal to put together a film shoot in my home country. It had been snowing in Norway for a month and bluebird was on the forecast.
Saturday I got the confirmation I needed to move on with the project, license to fly. Even if I think flying a heli is a bit of a hard way to treat our nature its hard to make the promo movies without. Most of the time we do it the normal way, ski resorts and hiking what we want to ride. This trip is a combination to make sure we can capture the beautiful surroundings we are traveling to.
Nature, riding and a good crew in a fine combination is what its all about.

It has been a dream for me to spend time in my home country and explore the mountains we have. It is nothing more beautiful than sharp alpine peeks rising straight up from the ocean. And in Norway we have it all. Sick!
I haven’t skied powder till now this year so I was very exited to get out there again with my brand new weapons from Volkl!
It’s been my first time skiing in this areas and I must admit I skied very little in Norway for many years. Its time to change that.
Big thanks to everyone who helped out on such short notice to make this dream trip happen!

25/01So happy to get out riding the mountain again after a few weeks off. First run to Midi every winter is always a blast and the stoke didn't disappoint me this day either!
Its been a while since my last update and not much riding news has been on. Im riding and playing a bit around and its nice but we need some more snow. I was in Norway a few days, riding some pow at the west coast and beeing guest in studio, check it out! "Førkveld" at NRK
Itsso nice to be out playing again even if Im pretty mellow. Nice pow days in Voss, Norway last week and Chamonix with mixed snow, we need more!
This weekend the FWT crew was in Cham so it was a good hangout!
Now Ill be super girl and do all my knee training so I can go big soooon!

Hemsedal, Buskerud, Norway! Im back where I learned to ski. Its been a real holiday for me, extreme relaxing has been on. Wanted to keep you posted about my recovery for those who wonder when Im back in the game again. Soon soon, no worries! Im so much better and walking around in the snow today without problems. Yes fysio crew, I have been listening to you, no skis with me! Not even cross country skis! Here is my surroundings while taking a last hike in my old child hood spot. Love the white mountains! Keep up a good spirit all of you :)

Some of you have asked me if its all dark when I go back home to Norway at this time of year so I decided to put up this for you. Norway is long so even if we are not more than 4 858 199 people living here the changes are big from south to north. Its super cool cause the diversity in our nature and climate and not to mention the fjords makes Norway unique. The combination of fjords and mountains is just stunningly beautiful and we have a lot of it!

Lets live and enjoy life! Think about what's important for you, things that makes you happy and do it more!

Im back in Norway for Christmas, super nice to hang out with my family again. I bruised my knee 22.Dec so unfortunately no skiing this week...lalala...a bit unpatience going on in my body right now but its ok, Im just happy its not a long one! Feels like I just got a taste of perfect days in the mountain..I want more! Beginning a season was great and Im so keen to get back in the snow, cant even describe it..soon soon!

Denmarks top ten big mountains(2006)! Check it out! Im from Norway btw ;) But yes its Scandie land up north for the rest of central europe. Right now its reported cooold weather in Norway, no snow and beautiful sun up north. Short but beautiful.
Cant wait to go home for Xmas :)

Grand Montet (3275) is open these days but still not all the way to the top. Only up to 2765 so its a good mix of rain, snow and wind effect under your skis after the warm winds took most of the pow away.

Its beautiful days thought, white mountains everywhere, blue sky and good crew. Its nice doing laps around Lavancher and to see that the base is covering more rocks so we can go faster and faster ;)

I took one day last week to go higher to find the powder again! On the other side of the Mont Blanc the lifts where running up to 3462 and with local crew I had some amazing runs! So nice to ski some steeper stuff, I like ;)

This day we actually canceled after meeting up in the morning. It was cloudy and not really sure if the snow was worth spending heli money on. A was already back in Cham after leaving Phil at La Forclaz who was back in Verbier. Coming over the mountains it was all bluebird on the Frence side so I called Phil and said we should go back. We did and we got a few ones! This little face with a fun jump and a big cruise with changeable snow but it was all over a pretty good day at the office ;) Both of the runs you can see in this years Motivation! And Erlend Haugen captured the moment for this add!

Summer turns into winter

Left the last summer in Hossegor last week with some amazing days at the beach. Thanks for a great summer to the people I have spent time with.
Closing summer at Le Surfing pirat style was epic, the bar closing most of us. The beach house crew won the party by far with the boss in lead. Ended the summer with good food, some nice few last waves and charging my body some before its full on winter.
It was getting colder down here to so it was just so nice to stay at the beach house, sneaking into the down jacket and walking down to check the waves with the morning coffee or just the balcony scoping! Loved it!
Aline was around for the week too, nice to team up again before we meet on snow again soon :)

Last sunset at the beach before I this time got a flight to the destination written on my passport :) Pretty stoked to get the chance to go home for a few days. The challenge was to get out of a striking France. To be sure to see my norwegian crew and family I got a friend to take me to the Spanish border to be sure things would work. Took a bus to Bilbao where I spent a few ours in a hotel before flying to Oslo. Made it home and had a great weekend! Ill post you some city shots later.

Good times in New Zealand this summer! Temple Basin club field was a super cool experience. Chilled nice refuge in the mountains with an amazing little playfield around you! Aline and I had been staying close to Wanaka for a week for the Heli Challenge and now we got the chance to go on a trip with the volkl crew from NZ. With Janina, Sam and Fraser, top crew and so much fun to ride with, we hit the road into the center of Southern Alps. Not super charging conditions but think we tracked Temple as we could with the conditions we had!
The road we took was just amazing! Fjords and mountains, deep forests with incredible rich vegetation and huge trees, long white beaches with waves and then up in to huge mountains range again! So cool!

With us was also Jason, filming and also a special touch with cars...;) and Camilla framing our small adventures on the snow.

Hossegor was on for a short week, nice to be back! The swell was huge so couldn't really jump in every day, but got a few good ones ;) Headed down south one day to see if it was a bit smaller on the Spanish side but ended up playing in on this concrete beauty instead. My skills are not really there on a skate and it was my first time in a bowl but had alot of fun!

Yes looks ok, but still around 4 meters out there..Watching the guys some of the days was cool, big tubes close to the beach in Hossegor gives you good live action!

Eu amo o mar..

Portugal for the first time, yoga retreat for the first time! Fresh fish at the marked every day and surf on the time off! Yes exact what I needed! Thanks again to my lovely friend and amazing teacher Kelly. Next up for her and hopefully me is one of my hangout places, Hossegor, in a few weeks time. The beautiful west coast of France, don't miss out!

I was still a bit tired arriving at my recreation week and found the best nap place ever ;)

Oh yee!

That's how we like it ;) Charlie was with us to make sure we didn't have to do much other than recreational moves ;) He cooked, he cleaned, stuffed our surfboard on the car every day and whatever else we needed him for and smiled! And wow we had some nice food going on, love it ;)

Hi guys! I have been back in Europe a couple of weeks now. I must admit I was a bit tired coming back from Chile. Its been a busy end of summer but wow its amazing how many new places I have been and so much seen and done :)

The first days home I was sleeping alot before it was time to fly to Munich for the day and shoot the intro for Motivation, one of the movies I have a small part in.
As many of you know my back wasn't playing with me this winter so I didn't manage to film as planned but go a few nice days to split on two movie projects. With the highspeed camera lined up in Germany it was worth going there, even if Phil's comment meeting me in Geneva was something like, wow you should get some sleep on the plain before we shoot..and I did ;) It was a long day but as you can see we had some fun ;)

Back home in Chamonix again it was time to get back in training and office mode. It was really nice, sleeping in my own bed, unpacking and seeing some friends. I have only been home in my appartment in Chamonix a few weeks since mid Mai.. Yes Im still very optimistic when it comes down to time, time for what its room for in a day, a week, a month or a year..;) And even now when I have a watch on every day..;) Swatch, I need them!

PVS show with the latest movie Punch Line in Chamonix was a killer! Stoked to see the movie and check out the artist giving us a super show and tunes! Make you wanna move lalalala ;)

And as I didn't get enough I drove over to Annecy for the IF3 couple of days later. First edition in Europe in the beautiful little city along the lake surrounded by mountains. After watching most of the movies on Saturday the award was on. Keeeeely Sildaru, Im proud of sharing part with you girl, you rock! 9 years old and your first prize at IF3! And Punch Line got the best edit and best visual effects! Yes so cool!

And my countrymen with the Norwegian Fieldproduction and their Side by Side got the best european movie prize, congrats!

Hey there! Yes Im back in Europe after my mission in Chile. It was amazing and for sure a new experience! Staying in tents in the middle of nowhere, snowmobiling, hiking and riding was a cool way to check out Chile for the first time!And we also had a few day checking out the Pasific and the waves. I'll post more from the trip as soon as I get the footage and movies.
My time back home is already flying and the daytrip in Munich yesterday, for the intro shot for Aestivation, put me somehow back on my yetlag..and Im a bit tired.I have been posting some quick new stuff that has been on earlier. NZ # 3 - Its been amazing!

My last post from NZ, its been amazing, World Heli Challenge, skydiving, surfing, fishing, Volkl shoot, treeplanting and car rally.. to sum up some of this strip :) I loved it!

After the Heli Challenge was over we took off early morning from Wanaka. With some of the Volkl team it was time to explore and shoot the roots of NZ skiing, the clubfields.

After six ours beautiful drive along the west coast, and it does look like "Lord of the Rings", we got to Athur's pass where we left the cars. For some reason it took a bit longer than expected when we ran out of gas 1km from the goal! Haha, no it wasn't the blondies fault! We had given the driving responsibility to the kiwi's. Tumbs up for Jason ;)

Haha so glad we got our bags up the gods lift before they closed it thought. Its an our walk from the parking to Temple Basin lodge. You appreciate your skis, bags and camera gear to go that way insted of carrying on the way up the verticals.

We got some quality time with the local Kea waiting for gas, thanks Jason, would't have had this amazing experience without you ;) Kea is an alpine parrot and a protected species and are mostly vegetarian but after what I heard and seen it eats everything...Rubber is a delicacy, so my shoes and the rubber on the car window was highlights.

It was a beautiful walk up to our base!

Oh yeah, this is where we stayed, in the middle of a mecca for hiking and riding!

Couldn't wait to wake up next morning to check this place out :)

Day 1: Nut cracker lift's took us into the valley. It was so peaceful, not many people around and specialy nobody interested in the same as us. Hiking to get to the good stuff ;)

Minigolfing a bit the first morning, checking out the snow conditions to see if our icy days where over. And it was. Fraser McDougall heading for a sweetspot in between Sam's and mine bomb holes :)

Ready to hike to ski a line in the afternoon ;) Janina Kuzma and I about to start the climb ;) With full on sugar snow with some ice and rock snacks under it took us a while and the sun moved fast..

Wanted to hit the spine stuff in the middle and it all worked out well until I hit some ice when passing rocks in the middle..no much edges and could'nt really turn much and a straighline had to come insteed of hitting my cliff..haha via very snowy wall..

Camilla got me when I was still in the nice sundown light and before icy and rocks took most of my attention..;) Check out her page with more pics and story!

Time to find the way back down to the lodge and the sweet dinner waiting for us :)

Day 2: Some technical issues with the tractor engine running the nut cracker so we got an our hangout at the "midstation" this morning, helping out getting the lift up and running. The clubfield is just equipped with exactly what you need so a lonely toilet was the priority ;)

Thanks to Volkl and the crew for an amazing trip. Its been an a blast and Im stoked for all I got to see and do the last 2 1/2 weeks :) Ill be back ;)

Hey there :)
I realiced my NZ post is getting longer than expected so Im creating a new one..Its just so beautiful here so some days my camera is going warm..
Last two days has been a bit different. The news about Frippe's accident at K2 its unbelievable. I feel so sad. He was such a great guy and will be deeply missed. My thoughts are going to his family and closest friends. Frippe died doing what he loved most and was living every moment of his life. He died young but its all about what you are doing while you are here. I am happy I got to know you.

Now I was suppose to write about what I have been doing the last days but I lost it a bit. But Ill post some of my shots.

This is what gives me the opportunity to travel the world and meet great people. Its was in the mountains I also met Frippe. R.I.P.

Working my way up to my start. The venue was beautiful and with lots of things to do..if it was not rock hard all the way down..Its been an incredible setup for an event, its all you want a competition to be but we have been really unlucky with the snow..so gotta come back next year and ride this mountains for real!

Cant do much with the weather but its still a bit frustrating. The only thing we want is to ride and have fun and having the opportunity like we have here, the sickest mountains and heli access and then thinkin you should have sharpened your edges..and now its dumping..;)

Still sun was shining and Im stoked to take the win together win Ted Davenport, Aline Bock and Travis Rice.

04/07 World Heli Challenge is on!

Yesterday was suppose to be first compday, the backcoutry freestyle day. The weather was perfect and we headed up to the backside of Mt.Albert with the heli's to have a look, hoping the storm had given us the fresh soft snow we needed. This is one of the reasons they couldn't hold it..and the snow was crusty cause of the warm temp after the snowfall and then it froze again..so nothing to charge at all..Not what we wanted..but we did the best out of it and had a session insteed:) It was so beautiful up there and I would love to ride these mountains properly!

Today was day off with some fun activities Ill post you about later. Now Im too busy eating ice cream and getting ready for the second comp day, the Freeride Day ;) Really hoping for some soft snow to play in!

02/07 The last days have been stormy and we have been chilling around doing some easy stuff.

Walking around the lake, gym and spa...whohoo...its really beautiful here!

Today Treble Cone resort was on all day, wet fresh snow, a bunch of riders taking off together and alot of fun!

Tomorrow the World Heli Challenge is on, really exited! Flying into these mountains will be

awesome! Did my scoping from the skydive the other day ;)

Hope you all are having a good summer!
After Hossegor I placed my car on a car train direction north. After 22 ours, included a quite good night of sleep I arrived in Hamburg, Germany. Pretty sweet way of crossing two countries instead of driving and better for the environment too ;) It was still about ten ours to go though..crossing parts of Denmark, ferry to Sweden and driving the coast up to Norway..
Not stoked to leave the waves and the nice hangout in Hossegor, but it was time for a visit. Haven't spend much time in Norway last years and it was time for some quality time with family and friends, not just passing a few days..And it feels good!

This is how my car looked leaving Chamonix this time..and there's skis and a bike in there too..Think even if I change car I will still need a big one..

Im back in Salmon land and its offcourse on my meny almost every day ;) Grilled salmon and veggies completed with a fresh salad of the day - Oh yeaah!

Right now Im chilling at this place, my family's cabin up in Rondane mountains..lovely!

So I cant be bothered posting more photos right now cause we are offline, back to the basics and in one with the nature..hahaha :)

I love contrasts and now life is for sure full of it!

Swatch Girls Pro is on and today we got the niice weather I wanted! Started the day with Ann Flore picking me up for morning session with the film crew. My first day surfing since a looong time, difficult, but its so much fun! Some yoga and then off for lunch at the comp site, super nice food served by the guys at La Surfing.
Im not staying inside much longer in this weather for sure but uploaded a few picks from the last days ;)

Left Chamonix with fresh pow in the high mountains, but feels ok to end it now even if I wish I had some more powder days before summer. Going for warm climate, surf, yoga its sprett sweet too :)

A couple of weeks with Swatch team up was the best season ender I could get!

10 ours drive ahead. Julien Lopez came over to pick up Arthur Ghillini and me here in Chamonix. The italien highway was on. First up was the Dalbello factory again, this time also with new Dalbello rider Julien. Got some new Virus for walking, liiight touring! Hope I will have weather to test it properly soon. Bluebird for two days so not much to complain about. Italien food and coffee and nice crew. Arthur filmed around and the freestylers styled the park. Monica, one of the Dal Bello sister's was also on spot to make sure the kids got up, fed, dressed and at the right place ;)

Yes thanks Soma Nordic! I just recived a new portion from the guys in Norway and Im stoked! These products have become essential in my life. I have been using these products for some years already and are addicted. The Udo's oil and the Opti Green is always with me in my bag even its a bit tricky somethimes to use them while travelling and eating in restaurants. Right now Im staying in one place for a while and are full on with my back training and yoga again so then its time to get the nutrition right again too ;) These product allows me to train hard and makes my body recover faster. Actually it makes my hole system works better and then I end up with more energy and that feels good! I just had my morning yoghurt full of fruits, nuts and lots of oil and some green powder to spice it all up ;) Im ready for this week!

I decided to book the heli a morning this week from 7-8 am cause it was full the rest of the day and the weather said cloudes would come in pretty early.
I decided we should go to a place I knew from before so I could spend the our we had good without too much searching and scoping for lines.
With a beautiful sunrise it was so peaceful up there, until I had chosen three lines to do and it was on! It was almost perfect, super powder most of the time but also all the way up here it was a bit of suncrust some places during my runs, but that just made it more challenging..;)

After my runs the heli dropped all of us so we could ski together all the way back down. We were so lucky, the cloudes started to come in on the way down so the timing on the shoot couldn't been better!
We got down at 8.30 am and I had approx 5000 vertical in my legs before breakfast! Yeah that was fun! And I got some niice shots, want more of them ;)

Been a little time since last update. Im feeling good and its nice to ski Cham again with some good snow. Got some epic days the last week :) I still need to work a bit on my back so its perfect to stay in Cham to check my fysio and get some training done. And I also took a little easter holiday, celebrating my birthday and hanging out with friends and my dad who came over from Norway for the springbreak.
And with no snow all March Im expecting it all this month ;)
Im just putting out some pics from the last weeks.

First up after Verbier was getting a day shooting with Phil and Aestivation Productions. The weather forecast said go but it was very far from bluebird in Switzerland that morning..

We gave up and went halfway back to Cham when we realiced it was bluebird on that side. After calling eachother too many times we decided to go back, we still had the heli available for a couple of more ours. Phil just managed to get ten minuts at his fysio on the Swizz side but came back fast when we called.
And hell yeah, sun was out!!

A bit of a stressful shooting cause the time was tight and we knew the wind had been hitting the mountains so we had to take a chance were to go and be fast. But we got some nice small shots and some fun skiing so all good ;)

Haha what a day! First the weather tricked us again and after way to many coffees and chocolate chaud, those are amzing thought in Italy;) we headed up to atleast get a view of these mountains to consider if we should come back here if it didn't turn out good this day..

We got dropped somewhere in the middle of the area with too big avalanche risk to go all the way up and no vissibility..
We waited and waited and I almost turned into an icewoman ;)

It was cold and we desided to ski down to the forest and call it the day. While doing some shots in the forest, with 20cm fresh on top of hardpack I catched some speed..and insteed of stopping after the filmer a hit a bump and skied straight into a three, ouchhhh!
And this is what happend when the heli came to get us...Hahaha nice work Bichon! The pilot loved it..;)

It was deffinetly time to call it the day and enjoy a lovely italien lunch insteed ;)

And then I decided to take us down one of the long shoots going back down to the house, but as you see the top was a bit tricky with alot of small threes, rocks and.. haha Ane's training camp..;)

This was the easiest way I found into the coloir...haha

After all these threes, rocks and grass a big nice shoot showed up! Sweet !

The guys gave us an incredible show! Soo much good a solid riding and schredding down Bec so fast we have never seen before! Driving the morning from Chamonix and just watch and hang out was nice, no pressure and I got the chance to actually watch all the guys riding this time.
We had a great day on the mountain and then closing in the comp season with bbq, swimming pool spring weather and a good crew ;)

WOW!! I am so happy right now!
I am not sure if I got it yet...The biggest turnover ever after not be able to even ski the first stop in Chamonix cause of injury. I decided to take it week for week, listening to what the body told me. Beeing able to ski the 2nd stop and win there made me motivated again for sure but I was still not sure if it would be better or worse during the season. I still had to step down a bit on my schedule but desided to try to focus on the comps. I knew there was not much room for mistakes in Squaw and Verbier to make a decent overall and hell yeah! I made it!

And not to forget Aline Bock!!!!!!! Yeah girl you made it! Its been a good team up having her around on the tour and winning this together was awesome ;)
Im dead today, super happy but tired too so Im heading back to Chamonix soon.
This has been a blast! Thanks to everyone supporting me!

The mini Bec was cool, I did choose a different exposure on the face compared to the other girls cause I got a huge hangup on that bigger jump in the lower section..:)
It looked like fun! I knew it would result in pretty hard snowconditions, it was a bit of fresh on top of something really hard. To land on that is all good but to keep the speed down is a different game when its steep so sorry for the lack of style and all this waiving ;)
But I had fun for sure and now its soon on again. To win this event last year, my first year on the tour and my first year skiing Verbier Xtreme was great! It would be incredible to make it again :)

Heading over on thursday and we should be on for Saturday if the weather is ok.

This one is for the norwegian's ! Test ut en can med den nye forfriskende Pink Grapefruit, ta et bilde og send! Og kanskje ses vi i Chamonix på den beste tiden av året! Med en høydeforskjell på et par tusen meter fra byen og opp til øverste skisenter kan denne perioden by på det meste. Pudder, vårsløsj og en kald pils og god steming i byen etterpå. Dagen jeg kjører på ski med dere har vi med en lokal mountain guide for å sikre de beste forholdene og mulighet for kjøring på Auguille de Midi 3842 hvis været tillater det. Dette er en utrolig opplevelse med den flotteste utsikten du kan tenke deg!
Håper vi ses!

Second day we didn't make it longer than the Starbooks in the bottom of the resort, it was poring down soo..

This is where I live while beeing touristing around in Squaw Valley and the Lake Tahoe area

One of the early mornings driving from Kings Beach and up to Squaw along Lake Tahoe. We have been meeting up at six a coupple of days but this one is one of the latest so the sun was atleast rising :) It was good to be yetleged when we started off on this program. California is warm and to catch the moutains before its baked have been nessecary.

Tram Face didn't run cause of security reasons. With the changing temperatures the snow get baked really fast and frozen again. To get kind of simular conditions through a hold field of riders its difficult.

With spending the morning ours from six to eight inspecting and getting ready for go on the tramface we were already running late. We had to wait to let the frozen part soften up a bit and then the avalance came down..

Soo..no Tram Face this year either and on eof the other option Silverado was to late for that day so the event got delayed. It was time to sit down and have a proper breakfast, it was still only 8am. Sun was shining so we hit the mountain for the rest of the day for some cruising.

Today at 8am we started the show at Silverado, two runs non stop, your best run out of two count. And it was a good show for sure. And the girl winning today was definitely giving the crowd a hell of a good show. Jumping off one of the biggest airs today amongs the boys with a pretty hard impact was just nothing you see every day. The local girl Jackie killed it.

Im happy with my day today for sure. I skied to solid runs, jumped off alot of funny clifs and also found a littel tecnincal thing to ski down in my first run. I backed out of my air out of the tecnical part but skied fast out of it. That placed me into second after first go. I still felt I had to do a good second run to keep the 2nd and to win I knew I had to jump big and do the same hard inpact as Jackie. I tried to keep my 2nd..I landed on some rocks on one jump so had a bit of a kamikaze style turning fast to hit my last jump, but didn't loose control. I didn't really know which run of my two that was the best but it was my first run that put me on the podium today. Yeah I am so happy about that. After missing out the first stop of the tour this year in Chamonix I am proud of getting back in with a 1st in Austria and a 2nd here :)

Next up competiion wise in a few weeks is the final in Verbier.

We still have the rest of the week in the Us cause the possible weather days until friday. Might take off tomorrow to check out San Francisco but first of all, get out of the ski clothes and catch the riders dinner :)

This girl rocks!

Kelly came over to Chamonix yesterday to ride some powder in my backyard. After she had been schredding the park in La Clusaz a few days it was pillow time. It was snowing pretty hard so we decided to stay in Grand Montets and get some shot in the forrest. After only email contact it was cool to finally get the chance to ride together, this girl is addorable and already an amazing skier, 8 years old..

Aiguille du Midi and Gressoney

After Austria I headed back to Cham, but not for to long. I got one day skiing here before Italy was on. We headed to Gressoney for filming a few days. Cool to see a new place, really nice spot with huge areas to ride. It was a bit difficult for filming, it looked so nice, but the base was thin so sharks everywhere..and pretty hard under the pow so some shinbangs on all of us.. haha but it was all good, nice italien coffee, nice people and it felt good to get started with the filming. Not so easy to film with this schedule right now, but luckily the winter is not over yet!

After some sleep back home it was Italy the next day and I headed out super early to catch the crew that already arrived in Gressoney the night before. Cleaning the car for my little roadtrip while checking the map and waking up.

Yeah! This was some of the beautiful surroundings I met my first day in this spot. Love beeing surrounded with this massive and beautiful nature.

The face! Beautiful but the sharks where just under the pow.. I desided to go for a tecnical more easy line to avoid the most rocky parts and headed for the powder to be able to ski fast and fluid, it worked :)
